Famly is designed to help you stay connected to your child’s day at nursery, all in one place. In the app, you can view daily updates, keep your child’s information up to date, communicate with staff, and access important documents such as invoices and learning observations.

See Your Child’s Daily Activity
Your child’s setting can use Famly to share updates about your child’s day, including:
Sign-in and sign-out times
Nappy changes and toilet visits
Sleep times
Meals and snacks
You can view these updates in your child’s Activity feed, and you can also choose to receive notifications about them.

Add or Edit Your Child’s Information
Famly allows your child’s setting to store important information about your child to support their care. The setting may ask you to help keep this information up to date.
This can include details such as:
Contact information
Medical details
Dietary requirements
Emergency contacts

Give Permissions
Your child’s setting may request permissions through Famly, such as permission for trips, photos, or other activities.

Add Contacts to Your Child’s Profile
If you have a Parent login, you can add additional contacts to your child’s profile. This is useful if other family members or carers need access to information or need to be approved for pick-up.
You can:
Add contacts to your child’s profile
Choose who is allowed to pick up your child
Invite contacts to Famly by sending them a login

View Your Child’s Learning Journey
The Journey tab is where you can find observations and updates about your child’s learning and development. Depending on your setting’s setup, you may also be able to add your own observations from home.

Send Messages to Your Child’s Setting
You can message your child’s setting securely through Famly.
Depending on your setting, you may be able to send messages to:
Staff in your child’s room
A specific staff member, such as your child’s key person
The management team
Other parents (if enabled by your setting)

View Your Invoices and Account History
If you have been assigned as a Bill payer or Invoice recipient, you will have access to the Balance tab in Famly.
