The Activity tab in your child’s profile gives you an overview of your child’s day at the setting. It’s where you can view daily updates, report absences, and see photos shared by staff.
The Activity Feed
The Activity feed is shown on the right-hand side of the screen and provides a timeline of your child’s day.
Here you can view updates such as:
Arrival and departure times
Nappy changes and toilet visits
Meals and snacks
Handwashing
Sleep and rest times
This helps you stay informed about your child’s routines and care throughout the day.
Report Your Child as Absent
You can also use the Activity tab to let the setting know if your child will be absent, sick, or on holiday. Just tap on each option to register an absence.
View Photos of Your Child
The Activity tab is where you can find photos taken of your child during their day at the setting. If you're using Famly on a smartphone, you'll need to tap on More → Photos to view photos of your child.
This includes:
Photos uploaded directly to your child’s profile
Photos where your child has been tagged from the setting’s Newsfeed
View Past Leave
On the left-hand side of the Activity tab, you can see an overview of your child’s absences from the setting. This gives you a quick way to track previous absences and attendance history. If you're using Famly on a smartphone, you'll need to tap on More → Leave to see a history of your child's leave.
