How to tag a photo of your child from the Newsfeed and save it to their profile

๐Ÿ”’ If you have been assigned a Parent role, you can tag photos of your child that appear on the Newsfeed. Keep in mind, Family roles won't be able to do this

How to Tag your Child in a Photo on your Newsfeed

You can tag photos of your child that you see in the setting's Newsfeed and keep them stored handily on your child's profile.

๐Ÿ”’ Keep in mind, you can't tag photos that have been posted as part of an Observation. Only photos in regular Newsfeed posts can be tagged


To tag a photo

  • Head to your Newsfeed by tapping on the Home icon in your menu bar

  • Scroll down your Newsfeed until you find a picture of your child you'd like to tag

  • Tap on the picture to open it and look for the Tag icon at the bottom. Once you've found it, tap on it to tag your child

    • If you have multiple children, you'll be asked to select who's in the photo

๐Ÿ’ก To remove a Tag, just tap on the same Tag icon again


How to View Tagged Photos of your Child

๐Ÿ”’ If you've been assigned a Parent role, you can see tagged photos of your child on their profile. Those with a Family role can't access child profiles, so will only be able to see photos on the Newsfeed


To view tagged photos of your child

  • Tap on your child's picture in the menu bar to go to their profile

  • Next, tap on More and select Photos

  • Here, you'll see all the photos your child has been tagged in

๐Ÿ’ก If you're using Famly on a computer, you can see your child's tagged photos by heading to the Activity tab on their Profile, and scrolling down to Photos
