Device enrolment

You are now able to register trusted devices (like room tablets) and restrict child data access to those devices only. There is also the option to limit data access by role, so certain roles can only see child data on an enrolled device.

📌 Available on all packages.

Safer sleep: checks and reports

Staff can now add notes when:

• Logging when a child went to sleep

• Performing a sleep check

• Logging when a child woke up

These notes are visible in the Child profile, under the Activity tab.

But that's not all...

The new sleep report shows all sleep activity in one place. Pick the dates you're interested in, and the new Sleep report lists every nap start, sleep check, and nap end recorded in that period, including:

  • The name of the child

  • The name of the room

  • When the events took place

  • Who logged the information

  • Any notes that were added

📌 Available on all packages.

Upgrade to holiday RSVPs

Parents must now pick one of three options when answering a holiday RSVP:

  • Attending

  • Not attending

  • Reply by day

As no reply is pre-selected, parents and carers must now answer in order to respond. Easier for parents and easier for you to see who's expected over those holiday periods.

Improvements to debt collection

These changes are live for sites opted in to the new Debt Collection with debt buckets.

We've replaced the old graph at the top of the debt collection report with three KPI cards, designed to allow a quick, at-a-glance picture of:

  • Overdue debt distribution - a visual breakdown of the total overdue debt across the five age buckets (1-30d, 31-60d, 61-90d, 91-120d, 120+d), so sites can see where the debt is sitting.

  • Bill payers with overdue debt - the number of bill payers with an overdue balance out of the total on the site. Click the card to filter the report to just those bill payers

  • Bill payers needing action - how many overdue bill payers haven't been sent a reminder recently. Click the card to filter the report straight to the ones sites need to follow up with first

We've also made a few improvements to the table itself, including:

  • 'Sticky' column headers, which stay visible as you scroll down

  • Clearer "Total overdue" divider.

  • The "Load more" button now sits within the table

📌 Available on Premium and Professional packages

🔦 Feature spotlight: Attendance schedules

Got a child missing from the register? It sounds like you need to update your attendance schedules.

To update them, you can go to Settings, then Finances, then Pricing, then Fundamentals.

💡You don’t need to create new attendance schedules for your children. Instead, you can simply edit the existing ones for as long as you need them.

Fixes, improvements, and smaller updates

Staff to-dos
You can now assign a to-do to multiple staff, if anyone can complete the task.

Status filter for your Famly usage report
The Famly usage report now has a status filter, so you can choose whether it counts the children and staff who haven't started with you yet. You can untick "Upcoming children" and "Upcoming employees" to see your true current usage.

Upgrades to the look of bill-payer forms
The forms for adding and editing a bill payer, and for splitting a child's bill between several payers, have been rebuilt. They're now faster, clearer, and consistent everywhere you reach them from - a child's profile, the Finance overview, the Billing overview, and Funding types.

Famly Perks: Nuuri

Nuuri helps nurseries turn interest into filled places, without the hassle. From getting discovered by local families to automating tours and managing waiting lists, Nuuri streamlines the full pre-enrolment journey, from first impression to first day.
