Through your room overview, you can track children’s sleep throughout the day to maintain a clear and consistent record of their routines. Sleep times can be shared with parents through the app, providing reassurance and insight into their child's day. You can also log sleep checks for internal use, which are not visible to parents.

How to Record When a Child Falls Asleep

Start by heading to your Overview under the Home tab in your sidebar. From here, in the Site overview section, click into a room. To log when a child in that room goes to sleep:

  • Select the child by clicking their photo

  • A menu box will appear on the right – click Status

  • In the expanded menu, select the moon icon labelled Sleep

  • A pop-up window will appear where you can enter how long ago the child fell asleep

If you're not able to log the sleep right as it happens, you can backdate it slightly. The pop-up gives you preset options like 10 minutes ago, 20, 30, 45, 1 hour, or 1.5 hours ago. If none of these match, you can also select a custom time, as long as it’s still during the current day.

💡 Sleep sessions can only be logged on the current day, so if you realise you missed one from the day before, you won’t be able to add it the next day

To log a sleep check, follow the same steps used to record a sleep and select Checked now. This will be saved internally but won’t be visible to parents.

How to Record When a Child Wakes Up

To mark when a child wakes up, follow the same steps:

  • Click the child’s photo in their room overview

  • Select Status from the side menu

  • Click Awake now or select how long ago the child woke up. You can enter that they woke up 10 minutes ago, 20, 30, 45, 1 hour, or 1.5 hours ago. If none of these match, you can also select a custom time, as long as it’s still during the current day

  • Once you select the child's wake-up time, their sleep times will show underneath their profile picture in the room overview

The sleep period is recorded in their Activity tab on their profile for parents to see.
