Staff Roles and Permissions
Allocating the right roles and permissions ensures that each staff member has access only to the areas they need in Famly. Roles also help protect sensitive data, and when a role is deactivated, the user is automatically logged out and cannot log in again.
This article covers:

Changing staff roles or permissions
How to Create a Staff Role
Before inviting staff to Famly, you should set up roles with the appropriate permissions. This ensures your team members can access the tools they need, without giving access to information or settings they do not require.
Steps to Create a Role
Click Settings in your sidebar
Select Staff
Click Roles and permissions
Scroll down to the Add new role section
Enter a name for the role
Assign the permissions you want this role to have
Click Save new role to finish
To see an overview of staff roles at your setting:
Click on the Home icon in your sidebar
From here, click on Staff
You'll see each staff member's role listed, and you can click on it to change it or remove it.
An Overview of Permissions
Permissions control exactly what each role can access in Famly. This ensures staff only see information relevant to their job and helps maintain data security.
For a full overview of all permissions in Famly, you can visit the Permissions Overview article:
Editing Staff Permissions
You can update a staff member's permissions at any time, giving them more or fewer rights depending on their responsibilities.
