Add a New Member of Staff to Your Setting in Famly
When a new member of staff starts at your setting, you will need to invite them to Famly. To add staff, you'll need the 'Create Children and Staff' permission enabled.
To start creating their profile:
Log in to Famly
Click the 'Get Started' icon
Select 'Staff' from the menu
Click on 'Add employee' and a new window will open (as below)
Enter the new member of staff's name and email address (we recommend a work email address)
You will then choose what type of access this member of staff has in Famly, by choosing the type of log in they have. To do this, you'll need the 'Manage logins for staff' permission enabled
You can also choose just to add them, and send a log in later.
Click 'Add' when you're done
Setting a New Staff Member's Role and Permissions
Each member of staff in your setting can be assigned a role and different permissions within the app. You can create your own roles in Famly and then assign these roles various permissions. To find out more about how to set this up, click below:
