How to manage your notifications

How to Access Your Notification Settings

To manage your notifications:

  1. Click your profile photo in the top-right corner of the screen

  2. Select My account from the dropdown menu

  3. Click on the Notifications and Messaging tab


Choose What You Get Notified About

You can select which events trigger a notification. The available options include:

  • When a new post is published

  • When there’s a new comment on a post you follow

  • When you receive a private message

  • When your team sends a message

  • When you get a new calendar invitation

  • When your child is signed in or out

  • When your child sleeps

  • If your child is marked sick or on holiday

  • When your child’s details are updated

  • When someone completes a website form enquiry signup

  • When there are staff schedule updates

Just check the boxes for the notifications you want to receive.


Choose How You Receive Notifications

You can also decide how you’d like to be notified:

  • Email notifications

  • Push notifications (Make sure push permissions are enabled in your device’s settings to allow Famly to send push notifications)

  • Both


Choose When You Receive Notifications

To avoid interruptions, you can control when notifications are sent:

  • Mute notifications in the evening

  • Mute notifications on weekends

Once you're done adjusting your preferences, click Save to apply your changes.
