To help plan attendance, your child’s setting may send out a Holiday RSVP request. This usually happens during periods when time off is more common, such as the summer holidays or Christmas.

A Holiday RSVP is a request from your child’s setting asking you to let them know whether your child will be attending during a specific period. Having this information helps the setting plan staffing and activities more effectively.

Receiving a Holiday RSVP Request

Once the setting has created a holiday period, you’ll be able to see the Holiday RSVP in two places:

  • As a post on your Newsfeed

  • On your child’s profile

You’ll be notified when a response is needed.

Reply to a Holiday RSVP

You can respond to a Holiday RSVP directly from the Newsfeed or your child’s profile.

To reply from the Newsfeed:

  • Find the Holiday RSVP request on your Newsfeed

  • Tap on Report holiday

  • From here, check off the days that your child won't be attending

  • Tap on Submit reply when you're ready

If you need to update your reply, you can always edit your responses by finding the post and amending the checked-off days.

To reply from your child's profile:

  • Tap on your child's profile picture in the menu bar

  • Find the Leave section on their profile

  • From here, tap on Reply in the Holiday replies section

Where Can I See Previous Holiday RSVPs?

Your previous Holiday RSVPs are saved in two places:

  • On the Holiday RSVP post in your News Feed

  • On your child’s profile

This makes it easy to review what you’ve already submitted.
