The Washing Hands feature lets you record and track handwashing for children throughout the day, directly from the room overview. Once enabled, staff can log it in just a few taps, and it'll show up on the child's profile and activity feed.
Enabling the Washing Hands Status
Hand washing is a key self-care skill and a simple way to keep children healthy. Before you can start recording it, you'll need to enable the status in your room settings.
Go to Settings in your sidebar and click Rooms, then Overview
Click on the room you'd like to enable the status for
In the Statuses section at the bottom, tick the Washing hands box
Repeat this for any other rooms you'd like to track hand washing in.
Recording a Hand Wash
Once enabled, Washed hands will appear as a status option in each child's status menu. To record a hand wash:
Go to Overview and click on the profile photo of the child or children who have washed their hands
From the status bar on the right, select the Washed hands status
The status will be logged straight away. You'll see the icon appear on the child's profile photo and in their activity feed.
