You can sign children in and out either from the Room Overview or directly from their profile. This gives you a quick and flexible way to keep attendance up to date without using the separate Sign-in screen.
Signing Children In
To sign children in:
Go to Home in the sidebar and select Overview
Choose the room you want to sign children into from the Site overview
Click the child or multiple children. A checkmark will appear on their profile photo
Select Status on the left
Choose Sign In
Their sign-in time will appear under their photo, and their picture will switch to colour.
Signing Children Out
To sign children out:
Return to Home and click Overview
Choose the room from the Site overview
Click the child or multiple children you want to sign out
Select Status on the left
Choose Sign Out
Their sign-out time will be recorded under their picture, and their photo will change back to black and white.
Signing Children In or Out From Their Profile
If you prefer, you can also update attendance directly from a child’s profile.
To do this:
Open the child’s profile
Go to the Activity tab
Click Add on the activity feed
Select Sign In or Sign Out
This is a quick alternative if you're already viewing the child's information.
If a child is marked as sick after they have already been signed in that day, their Activity tab will show Signed Out by Famly to keep records accurate.
