Care Summary Report

Written by Josie

The care summary report is where you can look back at attendance and ratio compliance for any past day, room by room. It's a single view that brings together:

  • Child attendance

  • Staff attendance

  • Care ratio issues (if any)

  • Headcount, broken down in 15-minute slots

Instead of jumping between reports, you get one clear picture of what actually happened in a room on any given day.

Finding Your Care Summary Report

To find your care summary report:

  • Go to Attendance Reports

  • Select Care Summary

How to use the care summary report

  • Use the date filter to pick any past day

  • Use the room filter to narrow it down to a specific room

  • Hover over the graph to see attendance vs. expected numbers for each 15-minute slot

  • Export the data as a CSV for more detailed record-keeping, for example, for audits or compliance checks

Understanding issues in the care summary report

Each issue represents a time slot where staffing didn't meet the required ratio for that room, based on your care requirement rules. So if the overview says "1 issue," it means there was one point in the day where the room had fewer staff than needed for the number of children present. Hover over the graph to see exactly when it happened.

Good to know

  • Care Summary replaces the old Staff Ratio Report. If you used to rely on that for historical ratio info, this is its replacement

  • The CSV export is aimed at giving a finer-grained breakdown than the graph alone, useful for compliance documentation
