Requesting Extra Sessions for your Child
If your child's setting has enabled this, you can use the Bookings tab in your child's profile to request extra sessions or products from your child's setting. To do this:
Go to your child's profile
Click on the Bookings tab
Click Request Care. A new window will open up (as below)
Next, select a date and a session or product.
Days on the calendar that are marked in dark pink have no availability, and those that are light pink have partial availability.
When you have chosen your date and session, click 'request care'
This will be sent to your child's setting for approval.
You will receive a notification and an email if your care is approved, or an email only if your care is declined. You can also check whether care is approved or pending approval in the Bookings tab.
Cancelling Extra Bookings
If you have requested an ad-hoc session of care for your child, and this has then been accepted by your nursery, it is not possible for you to then cancel the session in the app. You would need to get in touch with your child's setting directly, to ask them to cancel the extra session for you.
If the care you've requested has not yet been approved, you cancel or edit it. To do this:
On the 'Bookings' tab can click on the unapproved requested care you want to cancel
The pop-up of the calendar will open.
Click the 'x' next to the dates of the care to remove them and add other dates (edit) OR
Click on the three dots at the top of the page and select 'Delete'. Select 'Delete' again in the pop-up window
