Finding Parent-Requested Bookings
To find Parent bookings:
Head to your Settings
Click on Pricing
Select Parent bookings
Setting Up Parent-Requested Bookings
To set up Parent Bookings:
In Settings, click on Finances → Pricing → Parent bookings
Check the Enable parent bookings box
Next, select a pricing group - you can either choose one specific pricing group or select automatic if you have set up pricing group advance rules in your pricing section. The system will automatically calculate the correct price at the time of purchase
Select the sessions you'd like available for parent bookings
Select the products you'd like available for parent bookings
Click Save when you've finished
Additional settings for parent-requested bookings
You can add extra controls to parent-requested bookings by enabling a feature that prevents parents from requesting bookings after 6pm for the next day. Parents will also only be able to request sessions up to 15 days in advance.
To enable this setting:
Go to Settings in your sidebar
Click on Bookings
Toggle on Parent bookings for the following day and max 15 days of bookings
Approving Requested Bookings
To get an overview of parent-requested care:
Head to Finances in your sidebar and open the Overview section, then click on Purchases
Here you'll find a list of requested and approved bookings
To approve a booking, select it and click Approve. The child will now be booked in for that session or product.
Parents will be able to see Approved, Rejected and Pending booking requests on their accounts, too. They can access these by going to their child's profile and clicking on Bookings.
Keep in mind that parents can only see ad hoc purchases and requested purchases outside of their child's regular booking pattern. Parents cannot see their child's booking pattern in this tab.
💡 If you'd like to receive a notification when parents request additional care, make sure you have favourited (starred) all the relevant rooms in your Overview
