There may be times when you or your staff need to access Famly remotely. Here are some of the things you can do from outside your center:
Activity planning ahead of upcoming sessions
Ensuring you have the correct child statuses in place to monitor hygiene or sickness
Applying discounts to plans if you don't want to charge bill-payers during a closure
Staying connected with your children and their families with Famly Live
Sharing activities on the News feed for children to do at home
Do your staff have a device they can use?
If you or your staff need to access Famly outside of your center, they'll need a device to do so. Here's a handy guide on what devices they can use for Famly.
Do your staff have permission to access Famly outside of your center?
It may normally be required for your members of staff to be signed into the nursery premises to access their account. Here's how to change that:
Log in to the app and go to your Settings menu
Click Staff
In the Staff screen, click the Manage roles tab from the top bar
Make sure each staff member has the Can access the app away from the site permission ticked, allowing them to log in off-site
Does everyone know their login credentials?
To log in off-site, staff will need to use their email and password instead of their usual 4-digit pin.
If a staff member has forgotten their password, they can request a reset link by clicking Forgot password? on the login page
If they don't know which email address they are registered with, you can find it by going to Settings then Staff and locating them on the list. Make sure they use the exact email address they used to register as their Famly username
