Parents 🧸: Create a Collection Password

🔒 Can't set a collection password? Your center may not have enabled this feature. Reach out to your child's center to find out more.

At some centers, staff members will need you to define a secret word or phrase for your child to be collected. This is particularly useful when staff members don't recognise the person collecting your child. The pick-up person can validate their identity by sharing the collection password with a staff member. This article explains how to set or edit your child's collection password.

How to Create a Collection Password

  • Head to your child's profile by tapping on their profile picture in the menu bar at the bottom

  • Tap the Collection password icon in the top right corner

  • Enter a password in the Collection password for field, then tap Set password

How to Change a Collection Password

To change your collection password:

  • Head back to your child's profile and tap the Collection password icon

  • Tap Change password and save your changes

Once updated, staff members will automatically have your latest password on file. Next time you or another pick-up person comes to collect your child, simply share the collection password with the staff member on duty.
