Managers and authorized staff can check team members in and out directly from the app to keep attendance records accurate throughout the day.
How to Check a Staff Member In
To check a staff member in via the app:
Go to the Home icon in the sidebar and select Overview
Click on the room the staff member is assigned to
Scroll down and select the staff member you wish to check in
Click Status in the panel on the left
Tap Check in
Once checked in:
Their check-in time will appear under their photo
Their profile image will change from black and white to colour
Staff Check-in Permissions
Whether staff can check themselves in or edit attendance records depends on the permissions they have been assigned. You can review these under:
Settings → Staff → Roles and permissions → Compare roles.
Can check themselves in and out of classrooms
Allows staff to check themselves in or out from the site or room overview page by clicking their profile photo and selecting check in or check out
Staff can do this without permission to edit other staff members’ attendance
The Edit all staff attendance records (check in and out times) permission is not required
Edit personal attendance records (check in and out times)
Allows staff to manage their own attendance records
To edit personal attendance:
Go to their staff profile
Select Weekly details
Add, edit, or delete check-in and check-out records as needed
Their check-in time will be displayed under their photo and their image will change from black and white to colour.
