Live Translation allows you to communicate across 130+ languages, creating a digital experience that reflects your inclusive and diverse community. It is supported in Newsfeed posts, messages, and observations.
💡 Full app translation is also available in Spanish and a selection of other languages
Setting Up Your Translation Language
Once your setting has enabled Live Translation, you can set your preferred language in your own settings:
Tap your profile picture
Go to Your Settings
Select Language and translations
Under Translation language, click Edit and choose your preferred language from the dropdown
Under Platform language, click Edit and choose your preferred language from the dropdown
Once your translation language is set, the option to translate Newsfeed posts, observations, and messages will become available.
Translating Content
To translate a Newsfeed post, message, or observation, look for the Translate post button just below the content (shown in your chosen language) and tap it. Any written text will be translated automatically.
