Famly Live allows you to stream live video with children who are at home. Sessions can be one-to-one or a larger group, depending on who you choose to invite.
How to Start a Famly Live Session
Famly Live works similarly to making a post or observation on your newsfeed:
Go to your Newsfeed and start a post
Choose your recipients, either individual children or a group
Enter a message in the text box and click the Live button to add a live stream link to your post
Click Post
Once posted, the link will be active for 5 minutes and recipients will receive a notification straight away. Up to 16 people can have their video on in one session.
During the session, you can turn your microphone and camera on and off at any time, and adjust your settings by clicking the cog icon. Click the red End button to leave the meeting.
Setting Up Permissions for Famly Live
You can choose which members of staff are allowed to host a Famly Live session. To do this, go to Settings, then Staff, Roles and permissions and Compare roles.

Famly Live works on the following browsers and devices:
Mac and Windows — Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge
iOS 13+ (iPhone and iPad) — opens in Safari when joining a meeting from the app
