What to Expect
In our new layout of the app the design has been refined to make things both more functional and nicer to look at. As with any change, the new layout can take some time to get used to. We understand that the first couple of days can be a challenge as you look to find where everything is.

🍫 Sidebar instead of apps
Moving away from apps may seem a bit intimidating, but not to fear! Our research team has trialled and tested their hearts out and we can assure you that this will leave you clicking less in your day to day use of Famly.
👩💼 Different sections for different work
Your tools are up top on the left, your controls at the bottom and your personal items at the top.
❓Access to help in context
With the What's This button you can find links directly to our help centre. This should help streamline the learning process for new staff and make complicated tasks easier by saving you from the searching process.
So why is this worth your time investment? In short, it'll make using Famly easier to use in the long run.
The benefits of the new layout are as follows
🏃♂️ Finding things faster- Ideally, you'll spend less time thinking about where to find things, and instead focus on doing them.
🤓 Easier to get started - New users should find things more intuitively and be able to get up and running in a shorter amount of time.
🖥 Less screen time - The new layout has been designed for taking fewer clicks for each action. The goal here is to reduce the time spent on your screen so that you have more to give to the kiddos.
Another thing to note is that the new layout provides an improved organisation overview, making it easier to compare things. Overall it's cleaner and more modern, providing the structure necessary to hand over all the tools and features we have planned with the addition of the Famly Store.
