The EYFP
The Foundation Phase is the statutory curriculum for all 3 to 7 year olds in Wales. The EYFP has seven areas of learning:
Personal and social development, well-being, and cultural diversity
Language, literacy and communication skills
Mathematical development
Welsh language development
Knowledge and understanding of the world
Physical development
Creative development

Developmental Pathways
Curriculum for funded non-maintained nursery settings (Developmental Pathways)is a new curriculum in Wales for children 3-4 years old.
The five developmental pathways are:
